摘要: As both food and source of a kappa-carrageenan, Hypnea musciformis represents species great economic interest. It also synthesizes substances with antiviral, anti-helminthic anti-inflammatory potential shows promise for use as bioindicator cadmium. In this study, we investigated the combined effects seawater from three urbanized areas (area 1: natural runoff, NRA; area 2: runoff sewage treatment, RTA; 3: untreated sewage, RUS) different temperatures (15, 25 30 °C) on growth rate, photosynthetic efficiency, pigments cell morphology H. musciformis. After 4 days (96 h) culture, biomass showed differences that fluctuated among temperature treatments. Specifically, specimens cultivated in 35 °C had low values ETRmax, αETR, βETR, Fv/Fm parameters, well changes morphology, reduction drastic rates. When extreme temperatures, high concentrations ammonium ion effluent caused an inhibition activity, significant variation chlorophyll carotenoid contents. observed by light microscopy, synergism between pollutants found eutrophic waters cellular increased wall thickening decreased floridean starch grains. important physiological response to each factor independently, resulting synergistic interaction these factors combined. Therefore, can conclude effect waters, especially RUS, distinct morphological red alga
