摘要: Consensus exists that early recognition of sternal wound infection is crucial to prevent involvement and destruction the bone, which prohibits secondary closure necessitates use muscle flaps for closure. Since November 2001 September 2005, 125 patients received a VAC system after surgical debridement. Thirty-eight had superficial (2A) 87 deep (2B). From those, 59 underwent therapy, whereas 28 needed flap The time diagnosis great impact on outcome. It was made POD 10.6+/-8.3 in 2A group, 13.2+/-11.1 2B group. In from Group who recurrence infection, initial 13.1+/-11.1. where an SC possible 11.1+/-6.6 17.7+/-16.2 MF key successful management aggressive treatment with reopening entire sternum, seems mandatory achieve low rate.
