摘要: Experiments were carried out on the relation between hydrogen overpotential and electronic structure of nickel-copper alloys. We can classify these alloys into two groups, depending upon whether or not they contain more nickel than 60 atomic per cent., that is have positive holes in their d-band. The rich (more percentages nickel) rather low because small activation energy caused by large adsorption due to strong bond metal d-orbital H-atom. For copper overpotentials are high almost identical owing extinction holes.
