摘要: Otoacoustic emissions (OAEs) and auditory evoked potentials (AEPs) are different in several special populations of subjects. For females having opposite-sex co-twins (OSDZ females) for homosexual bisexual females, OAEs masculinized. Certain AEP measures from also males hypermasculinized. These other facts can be explained by assuming that these received greater-than-normal exposures to androgens at some point(s) during development, possibly prenatal development. It is proposed differences androgenization may have been spatially temporally localized rather than global, the response androgen exposure sometimes nonmonotonic.
