摘要: Abstract This report extends our previous studies concerning the identification and characterization of a protein from normal cells that is closely related to avian sarcoma virus (ASV) transforming gene product pp60src. This cellular protein, which we have found in both mammalian tentatively designated pp60sarc, was detected by immunoprecipitation radiolabeled cell extracts with serum derived mice rabbits bearing ASV-induced tumors. The pp60sarc 60,000-dalton phosphoprotein structurally similar, but not identical, viral phosphorylation patterns proteins are also similar: contain two major phosphorylated residues, phosphoserine located on NH2-terminal 60% polypeptide phosphothreonine present COOH-terminal 40% molecule. In addition, chicken appears an associated kinase activity analogous previously described for possible roles played ASV pp60src growth neoplastic disease, respectively, discussed.
