摘要: We investigate the relation between X-ray nuclear emission, optical emission line luminosities and black hole masses for a sample of 47 Seyfert galaxies. The sample, which has been selected from Palomar spectroscopic survey nearby galaxies (Ho et al. 1997a, ApJS, 112, 315), covers wide range powers, L2" 10keV # 10 43 erg/s down to very low (L2" 38 erg/s). Best available data Chandra, XMM-Newton and, in few cases, ASCA observations have considered. Thanks good spatial resolution these proper modeling various spectral components, it possible obtain accurate not contaminated by o! -nuclear sources and/or di! use emission. then corrected taking into account likely candidate Compton thick sources, are high fraction (>30%) among type 2 Seyferts our sample. main result this study is that we confirm strong linear correlations 2-10 keV, (OIII)! 5007, H" show same slope as quasars luminous galaxies, independent level activity displayed. Moreover, despite Eddington ratios (L/LEdd) tested here (six orders magnitude, 0.1 " 7 ), no correlation found or mass. Our results suggest nuclei consistent with being scaled-down version more AGN.
