摘要: The effect of photon flux density (PFD) on the partitioning photosynthetically fixed 14CO2-C into major intracellular end products was investigated for three species freshwater planktonic algae (Nitzschia palea, Monoraphidium minutum and Synechococcus elongatus belonging to different classes. This study designed investigate phenomenon polysaccharide synthesis associated with saturation protein test if this process is common all phytoplankton species. Protein saturated at low PFD in studied. However, carbon differentially stored, namely lipids Nitzschia palea (Bacillariophyceae), polysaccharides (Chlorophyceae), molecular weight metabolites (LMW) (Cyanophyceae). results transient state indicate that metabolic pathways can easily be controlled by irradiance. Furthermore, it appears difference patterns taxonomy dependent.
