摘要: During the 8-year period from 1973 through 1980 there were 221 firearm deaths autopsied and investigated by both departments of Forensic Medicine in Amman, Jordan. Although restrictions for legal possession firearms are minimal, more illegal arms possessed. Fifty-one per cent such homicides, 31 accidents 18 suicides, with a sharp increase incidence homicides over years. Firearms rank as fourth cause death all cases unnatural death, homicidal constitute 29 general.All assailants 80 victims males. Females most commonly homicide. Police armed forces comprise 20 subjects studied fatalities involved children young adults.
