摘要: Urban habitats are noisy and constrain acoustic communication in birds. We analysed the effect of anthropogenic noise on vocalization characteristics House Wrens Troglodytes aedon at two sites with different levels (rural urban). measured each song trill frequency bandwidth, maximum amplitude, highest minimum frequency, rate. In urban environments, there was a reduction bandwidth an increase rate relative to quieter, rural environments. The whole birds from both populations increased as increased, improving transmission.
