A location-aided teletraffic measurement scheme for optimizing the locations of fixed relay nodes

摘要: The optimization of fixed relay nodes' location relies on the demanded teletraffic distribution. However, conventional measurement scheme conducted at base station can not provide in a sufficient small area, and alternative modelling only provides approximated results. Taking advantage emerging technologies including intelligent mobile terminal, navigation technology location-based services, we propose new scheme, which employs terminals to collect their own information then constructs database recording every terminal's mobility pattern communication pattern. We exemplify proposed using simulations, such derive so as optimize locations with purpose minimizing total required bandwidth.
