摘要: Natural language grammars with large coverage are typically the result of many person-years effort, working clumsy formalisms and sub-optimal software support for grammar development. This paper describes our approach to task writing a substantial grammar, as part collaboration produce general purpose morphological syntactic analyser English. The grammatical formalism we have developed is metagrammatical notation which more expressive computationally tractable variant Generalized Phrase Structure Grammar. We also implemented system provides highly integrated very powerful set tools developing managing based on this notation. grammarian an environment found be essential rapid but successful production grammar.
