摘要: Abstract This work presents an integrated application of potential field data to discover potash-bearing evaporite sources in Aji-Chai salt deposit, located east Azerbaijan province, northwest Iran. Low density and diamagnetic effect minerals, i.e. potash, give rise promising anomalies that assist localize sought blind targets. The halokinetic-type salts the prospect zone have flowed upward intruded into surrounded sedimentary sequences dominated frequently by marl, gypsum alluvium terraces. Processed gravity magnetic delineated a main potash source with negative amplitude responses. To better visualize these deposits, 3D model contrast susceptibility was constructed through constrained inversion data. A mixed-norm regularization technique taken account generate sharp compact geophysical models. Since tectonic pressure causes vertical movement studied region, simple cylindrical shape is appropriate geometry simulate geological Therefore, structural index (i.e. decay rate distance) such assumed embedded program as geometrical constraint image geologically plausible sources. In addition, top depth adjacent were estimated 39 m 22 m, respectively, via combination analytic signal Euler deconvolution techniques. Drilling result also indicated starts at 38 m. models (assuming superficial cover hard algorithm) demonstrated has extension less than 150 m.
