摘要: As a result of the current spate popular literature dealing with phosphorus in aquatic environment, expression “the phosphate problem” is firmly equated most people’s minds undesirable effects pollution waterways and basins by phosphorus-containing effluents from urban areas industrial sites. The importance this problem cannot be decried, although some (Griffith, 1973) have deplored rapid closing down much research on applications compounds which has unfortunately not been paralleled concomitant upsurge quantity quality such analytical methods, biochemistry, microbiology as still needed for full understanding cycle. Many problems are any case concentration population large conurbations would undoubtedly less difficult to deal if socially economically megalopolises had never evolved.
