摘要: Abstract A novel approach for the preparation of blue-color giving zirconia nanopowders by doping 3 mol% Y2O3 through simple one-step hydrothermal process is proposed. yttria-stabilized tetragonal polycrystalline (Y-TZP) powders were prepared urea-based solution, zirconium acetate, CoCl2·6H2O and AlCl3 precursors in vessel at 24 h, 150 °C 20 bars. Based on results, synthesized Y-TZP have entirely structure as mono phase with 3.8 ± 0.2 nm average grain size (Y, Co, Al)xZrO2; x ≤ 0.03 at. chemical composition. Thermal treatment was also applied to 1200 °C 1450 °C observe color evolution. Only sharp blue obtained resulting development zirconia-cobalt aluminate spinel (ZrO2-CoAl2O4) composite ceramic both temperatures after heat-treatment. Herein, not only formation CoAl2O4 but incorporation cobalt (Co) aluminum (Al) into grains plays a critical role evolving color. This can be good candidate production sintered ZrO2-CoAl2O4 ceramics numerous applications due their superior structural functional properties.
