摘要: Increasing evidence indicates that extracellular vesicles (EVs) secreted from tumor cells play a key role in the overall progression of disease state. EVs such as exosomes are by wide variety and transport varied population proteins, lipids, DNA, RNA species within body. Gliomas constitute significant proportion all primary brain tumors majority malignancies. Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) represents grade IV glioma is associated with very poor prognosis despite cumulative advances diagnostic procedures treatment strategies. Here, authors describe progress understanding EVs, especially exosomes, progression, how new research unraveling utilities diagnostics development next-generation therapeutic systems. Finally, based on an latest scientific literature, model for possible working proposed.
