摘要: Abstract 1. The purpose of this study was to show that changes in vertical jaw relation produced by mandibular rotation resulting from growth after orthodontic treatment contribute part anterior relapse. Twenty-six patients were selected on the basis return deep-overbite or open-bite following as observed directly dental casts. Dental casts and corresponding sagittal roentgen head films before treatment, at beginning retention, a subsequent date sometime end retention analyzed evaluate toward original overbite relationship. 2. Two sets measurements for each patient obtained determine tooth-to-bone relationship bone-to-bone occurring during time interval studied. first set based constructed lines planes reference, second structural landmarks. 3. A method described superimposition using (anatomic bony) landmarks eliminate reduce error measuring through changing Skieller 40 used rotation. 4. Changes maxillary incisor axial inclination root apex position producing with respect their contribution 5. molar posterior facial height also discussed 6. Those who exhibited relapse showed greater increase than combined sutural alveolar maxilla mandible. In contrast, those mandible increase. 7. showing forward rotation, whereas backward 8. Depression elongated teeth not found 9. Possible sources begin briefly. Type type discussed. Finally, length age when jaws is complete suggested.
