摘要: There have been precipitous declines in fertility the 28 formerly communist countries of former Soviet Union and Central Eastern Europe since dissolution Union, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, economic transition away from central planning social liberalization these countries. Because steep declines, a number now more deaths than births. Using proximate determinants framework, this article examines impact that marriage, contraceptive prevalence, abortion, breast-feeding had on levels countries, as well recessions dislocations.
