摘要: Sequences of the mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) gene have been used for DNA barcoding and determining genetic diversity mammal species. In current study, our intention was to test validity COI barcodes detecting divergence reveal whether or not there is a variation at this marker within canids. Three species (Canis aureus, Canis lupus Vulpes vulpes) from family Canidae were selected using samples collected Iran Turkey. All three had unique sequences none shared among these The mean sequence divergences 0.61% 12.32%, respectively, which fell into ranges found in some groups. canid relatively higher than that previously reported studies.
