摘要: Abstract The refractive indices (n) and densities (ρ) of xRO − (100 − x)TeO2 glasses (R = Mg, Ba, Zn) with x = 10–40 are measured in the temperature range 50–150 °C order to clarify thermo-optic coefficients (dn/dT) dependence electronic polarizability oxide ions ( α O 2 − ) optical basicity (Λ). It is found that values n, , Λ increase almost linearly increasing temperature. dn/dT between 7.32 9.69 × 10−5 K−1 tend decrease RO content. Contrary, ⅆ / T dΛ/dT constant irrespective suggested has an important contribution on coefficients, but volume thermal expansion not ignored. In analyses polarizabilities RO–TeO2 glasses, concept group for TeO3 TeO4 structural units also applied. explained large composed oxides having small average single bond strengths basicities.
