摘要: Monascus pigments (MPs) are a group of secondary metabolites produced by the filamentous fungus Monascus. In this study, dominant MPs in submerged cultures ruber M7, rubropunctatin and monascorubrin, were found to be both intracellularly cell-bound state extracellularly form free crystals. To prepare quantify extracellular intracellular water-insoluble (wiMPs), separation crystalline (ecMPs) mycelia from fermentation broth was carried out filtration using filter papers (FPs), nylon mesh filters (NMFs), sand core funnels (SCFs). Subsequently, collected ecMPs subjected microscopic observation quantitative analysis evaluate efficiency. Results showed that 200 300 mesh/inch NMFs optimum for separating mycelia. This study is first comparative different preparation wiMPs. It would lead further investigations on production secretion wiMPs
