摘要: Recently, there has been an increasing interest in compact polarimetry (CP), which helps to reduce the complexity, cost, mass, and data rate of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems while attempting maintain many capabilities a fully polarimetric system. In this letter, we provide comparison three conventional CP modes distinguish different physical scattering mechanisms (PSMs) through H-α decomposition. A space for dual circular mode is proposed on basis distribution centers densities PSMs. Both airborne spaceborne SAR are used validate our method. The experimental results show that decomposition accuracy each PSM improved compared with previous publication, kappa coefficient increases by nearly 0.1, overall above 81%.
