摘要: The present invention relates to compounds which are capable of exerting an inhibitory effect on the Na+ glucose cotransporter SGLT in order hinder and galactose absorption, as well lipase thus reducing dietary triglyceride metabolism, for use treatment conditions benefit therefrom (diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome, obesity, prevention weight gain or aiding loss). These comprise a non-absorbable, non-digestible polymer having glucopyranosyl galactopyranosyl equivalent moiety stably covalently linked thereto, said being able occupy glucose-binding pocket transporter.
