摘要: Hookworm is still one of the three main soil-transmitted helminths prevalent in China, and 39 million cases infected with hookworm were estimated China 2006. The approach to control infections consists large-scale deworming, rebuilding sanitation systems rural areas health education. availability low-cost, safe single-dose albendazole make deworming programs possible China. Currently, sanitary latrines three-cells are recommended by government for helminths, since 35% helminth 83% worm eggs could be reduced after using this kind latrine. In addition, economic prosperity contributes greatly reduction prevalence, but inequity social development among different regions provides a scenario that worst threat infection located poorest southern central Therefore, it necessary put more investments into prophylaxis treatment these poor regions.
