摘要: Abstract A number of high-temperature mixed oxides niobium and tungsten, containing less than 10 mole percent WO 3 , have been examined by electron diffraction microscopy. The unit cell dimensions symmetries three new phases found in this region determined. structures proposed for them are based upon the ordered intergrowth high temperature Nb 2 O 5 WNb 12 33 leading to ideal compositions 26 68 40 103 173 . Lattice images suitably oriented fragments these materials proved be particularly useful elucidating structural relationships between them. observations pose a questions concerning definitions solid state chemistry.
