摘要: The Community Organizing Network for Environmental Health (CONEH), a project of Action Against Asthma, used community health development approach to improve children’s asthma-related through increasing the community’s capacity reduce physical and social environmental triggers asthma. Three organizers were hired work with groups residents in neighborhoods Detroit on priority areas air quality, housing, citizen involvement policy decision-making. As part evaluation CONEH project, 20 one-on-one semi-structured, in-depth interviews conducted between August November 2005 involving steering committee members, staff key organization and/or members. Using data from this article identifies dimensions that enhanced as CBPR reducing associated childhood asthma factors facilitated or inhibited enhancement capacity.
