摘要: Land subsidence in Semarang is a severe hazard threatening people and urban infrastructure. The evolution of land has been monitored between 1996 2000 with few leveling stations. Hence, maps show an overall distribution subsidence, but are inaccurate detail. Stable points network (SPN) technique applied to improve land-subsidence mapping. SPN measures ground motion using Synthetic Aperture Radar satellite images. For the processing, 35 radar images acquired 2002 2006 have selected. Derived rates vary from fractions 1 mm/year values 10 cm/year even beyond. Classification visualization data illustrate boundary mainly stable south increasingly land-subsidence-affected toward coast. Final result map featuring much higher accuracy as had possible before. This article presents brief description introduces briefly concept technique. Results SPN-based detection presented discussed user’s point view.
