Describing the issues of knowledge management in R&D: towards a communication and analysis tool

摘要: In this article, a comprehensive descriptive model of R&D knowledge management is presented and its use illustrated. Knowledge defined as: information internalized by means research, study or experience, that has value for the organization. First, issue placed in context management, set alongside what been written literature about topics such as technology R&D, transfer, communication organizational learning. Then, we present our model, apply it case concerning Dutch multinational chemical industry. The served an aid to identify bottlenecks, was useful starting point formulating improvement plans, some which are presented. paper concludes with evaluation analysis tool, ideas further improvement.
