摘要: BACKGROUND The purpose of pharmacovigilance (drug safety) is collection, detection, assessment, monitoring, and prevention adverse effects with pharmaceutical products. It meant to identify, characterize, prevent, or minimize actual potential risks relating medicinal To prevent these improve our practice, health professionals have a duty report side assess this risk evaluate the benefit/risk requirements. Mitotane (Lysodren) used for treating adrenocortical carcinoma. Currently, no concerning oral genital mucosa been reported. CASE SUMMARY This case about 50 years old woman. Six months after initiation on mitotane treatment, she developed erosive lesions located vaginal mucosa. These drug reactions were diagnosed as lichen planus by biopsy. lichenoid resistant usual treatments, being at time not replaceable. CONCLUSION describes an unreported effect mitotane, it - knowledge 1st description reaction due Mitotane.
