摘要: BACKGROUND The purpose of pharmacovigilance (drug safety) is collection, detection, assessment, monitoring, and prevention adverse effects with pharmaceutical products. Mitotane (Lysodren) used for treating adrenocortical carcinoma. Currently, no concerning oral genital mucosa been reported. CASE SUMMARY This case about 50 years old woman. Six months after initiation on mitotane treatment, she developed erosive lesions located vaginal mucosa. These drug reactions were diagnosed as lichen planus by biopsy. lichenoid resistant usual treatments, being at time not replaceable.
