摘要: Abstract The alpha-subunit of the trimeric G-protein complex specific for taste receptor cells tongue, alpha-gustducin, is described here to be also expressed in stomach and intestine. The alpha-gustducin-containing were identified as brush that are scattered throughout surface epithelium gut share structural features tongue. These findings provide clues long-sought molecular cellular basis chemoreception gut.
