摘要: The measurement of plasma stream velocity in a coaxial pulsed accelerator using two pairs double plate probe (DPP) is reported this article. device produces quasisteady type high and energy for duration few hundreds microseconds. A simple arrangement DPP with capacitor based biasing circuits was developed in-house which detected different instances reaching the plates. This time interval gave measure known distance separation between probes. spectroscopic study also performed to validate findings DPP. In experiment, nitrogen argon gases were considered as operating medium. velocities Argon Nitrogen found be (25 ± 1.5) km/s (28.5 ± 0.5) km/s, respectively. density calculated from measured velocity, it (0.8 ± 0.05) MJ/m2 (0.3 ± 0.02) plasma. value significant studying fusion relevant matter interaction.
