摘要: Abstract This paper considers a novel image compression technique called hybrid predictive wavelet coding. The new proposed combines the properties of coding and discrete In contrast to JPEG2000, data values are pre-processed using remove inter-pixel redundancy. error values, which difference between original predicted transformed. this case, nonlinear neural network predictor is utilised in system. simulation results indicated that can achieve good compressed images at high decomposition levels comparison JPEG2000.
