摘要: Summary Previous work has shown that the giant fibres (GFs) of hermit crab make excitatory electrical connections with motor (MoG) and segmental (SG) neurones, SGs in turn to fast flexor (FF) neurones. In this paper we show synchronous or almost-synchronous IPSPs can be elicited all three classes neurone by stimulation connectives roots. These are depolarizing MoG SG, hyperpolarizing FFs. The functionally disconnect MoG, SG FF neurones from GF command. Several interneurones have been found which initiate when driven injected current. referred collectively as inhibitory driver (IDNs). some cases follow IDN spikes 1:1; others more than one spike is required produce a single IPSP.
