摘要: The present study was aimed to investigate whether hyperglycemia may alter the regulation of vascular natriuretic peptide receptors (NPR). induced in rats by treatment with streptozotocin (50 mg/kg, i.v.). expression different subtypes NPR determined thoracic aorta reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction and quantitative vitro receptor autoradiography. isometric tension guanylyl cyclase activity isolated response peptides were also determined. Following streptozotocin, plasma concentration atrial (ANP) significantly increased. NPR-A increased, while that NPR-C reduced. binding demonstrated an increased maximal capacity NPR, its affinity not altered. magnitude vasodilation ANP On other hand, vasodilator as well tissue formation cGMP acetylcholine or sodium nitroprusside These results indicate cause altered NPR.
