摘要: The characteristics of the plasma jet emanating from a dc non-transferred torch is affected by many factors including arc current, type gas, gas flow rate, injection configuration and geometry. present work focuses on experimental investigation influence shroud I–V electro-thermal efficiency operated in nitrogen at atmospheric pressure. injected into axially through three different nozzles such as normal, sheath twisted nozzles. effects rates plasma/axial current holding are investigated. found to be strongly influenced configuration. effect voltage decreases with increasing axial rate. At higher rate (> 45 lpm), similar irrespective nozzle used. variation almost that current. As expected, increased when it not normal may better range operating conditions used this study.
