摘要: Angiogenesis is crucial in pulmonary development to establish the groundwork structure for lungs’ main function of gas exchange across a thin blood barrier. This network and air conduits begins form early gestation continues through childhood, requiring intricate epithelial–mesenchymal interactions that are regulated by various angiogenic growth factors. Disruptions this complex system lead inadequate diseases respiratory distress. At time, precise roles these factors between epithelial mesenchymal cells poorly understood. A better understanding processes may improved therapies diseases.
