摘要: Abstract The analysis of the complete nucleotide sequence small resistance plasmid pIE1107 revealed a close similarity to well-known IncQ plasmids. Highly conserved replication proteins and nearly identical origins (oriV) suggest equivalent functions in related systems. However, contains two copies IncQ-oriV-like DNA which are slightly different regarding iterons. Upon deletion silent copy resulting is fully compatible with plasmids, indicating that there no mutual communication between control respective replicons.
