摘要: Abstract Rat pancreatic islets cultured for 1 to 5 days in the presence of 20 80 mmol/L d -glucose accumulate glycogen a time- and concentration-dependent manner. When glycogen-rich are incubated 6 10 minutes absence -glucose, rate glycogenolysis is grossly proportional content. Exogenous (7 mmol/L) inhibits glycogenolysis. This inhibitory effect opposes increase glycolytic flux attributable utilization exogenous glucose. Both on hexose tend be higher with α- than β- -glucose. In light these findings, it proposed that interference might play role paradoxical changes insulin output its altered anomeric specificity response administration, as often encountered non-insulin-dependent diabetic subjects experimental models B-cell glucotoxicity.
