摘要: Silica coated Iron-oxide composites of different ratios (iron oxide / SiO2 = 3:7, 1:1 and 7:3) have been synthesized. Iron oxyhydroxide, as the precursor iron oxide, has prepared by electrochemical method .The tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS), silica, used at to synthesize silica composite ratio. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Differential thermal analysis (DTA) , Thermogravometric (TG), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Energy dispersed (EDS) technique employed characterize precursors well materials. The results reveal that iron-oxide were formed. material can be for treatment wastewater remove heavy metal.
