摘要: Solid materials play an important role in the lives of human beings and understanding their properties better contributes to improved comprehension universe we live in. Solids exhibit specific mechanical, magnetic, electric, thermal, optic, also biological properties. Insight into structure dynamics solids over a range length time scales is key rationalizing, engineering, improving these A plethora spectroscopic techniques at our disposal for studying molecular level, mostly based on electronic structure. Solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (ssNMR) spectroscopy well-established method inter- intramolecular interactions electric molecules, much used study wide scales. Molecules are building blocks extended systems, such as coordination polymers or supramolecular entities arranged space through non-covalent interactions, example, drug/pesticide organic molecules inorganic complexes. Many reviews available applications ssNMR [1]. In this chapter, however, focus use small (roughly weight under 800 Da). We shall highlight main technique, providing structural insight broad family commonly employed multiple general interest scientific community. The alter tune activity functions porous materials, biomaterials, nanomaterials very topic. Thus, few case studies presented, where spy gain information surface modifiers existent enhance catalytic activities.
