摘要: New observations of systematic red shifts tansition region and coronal lines obtained with SUMER (Solar Ultraviolet Measurements Emitted Radiation) on SOHO (the Solar Heliospheric Observatory) are presented. With the extensive wavelength coverage it is possible to extend measurements much higher temperatures compared previous instalments. We find formed in upper transition (e.g. O v, S VI) be red-shifted similar lower temperature (T ≤ 1.8 × 105 K). Even hotter such as VI, Ne VIII Mg show order 5 km s-1 quiet Sun. This a new significant result since were less well constrained.
