摘要: Abstract The effects of i.v. and intracoronary (i.c.) nitroglycerin, propranolol, the combination propranolol nitroglycerin on myocardial oxygen consumption (MVO2) lactate utilization were studied in situ ischemic working dog hearts. I.v. reduced MVO2 9% which was associated with peripheral vasidilatory actions drug. I.c. had no detectable vasculature significant effect MVO2. caused an 8% reduction this action a negative chronotropic slight inotropic effect. However, more effective than either drug alone, 18% thereby indicating that two drugs are additive. These results support concept seen is principally due to vasodilatory while propranolo drug's heart agents complementary.
