摘要: In this study, an attempt was made in order to develop a multipurpose tile body using single formulation. achieve this, several recipes were prepared mainly local raw materials with clearly defined physical and chemical properties at different sieve residues fast fired under industrial conditions the first part of study. second part, most suitable formulations corresponding determined further peak temperatures laboratory establish their vitrification ranges optimum firing temperatures. The tested varied 20 °C intervals from 1120 1200 for wall 1140 1220 floor body. thermal bodies such as water absorption, linear shrinkage, bulk density expansion coefficient measured. behaviour also evaluated double-beam optical non-contact dilatometer. Furthermore, subjected colour measurements. Particular consideration given phase microstructural evolution developed bodies. X-ray diffraction (XRD) used analyse phases formed before after firing. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) combination energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) employed observe microchemical characteristics respect temperature. preliminary experimental results showed that it possible obtain accordance ISO-EN 10545.
