摘要: Emotion regulation dysfunctions are assumed to contribute the development of tobacco addiction and relapses among smokers attempting quit. To further examine this hypothesis, present study compared heavy with non-smokers (NS) in a reappraisal task. Specifically, we investigated whether non-deprived (NDS) deprived (DS) differ from cognitive emotion there is an association between outcome cigarette craving. Sixty-five participants (23 non-smokers, 22 NDS, 20 DS) were instructed down-regulate emotions by reappraising negative or positive pictorial scenarios. Self-ratings valence, arousal, craving as well facial electromyography electroencephalograph activities measured. Ratings, electromyography, data indicated that both NDS DS performed comparably nonsmokers regulating emotional responses via reappraisal, irrespective valence stimuli. Interestingly, changes positively associated arousal valence. These results suggest capable regulate deliberate smokers' rather than This provides preliminary support for therapeutic use replace maladaptive emotion-regulation strategies nicotine addicts.
