摘要: Magnets have been used in dentistry for many years. They can be made to push or pull teeth. The force they deliver directed, and exert their through mucosa bone, as well within the mouth. In orthodontics are intrusion of teeth, tooth movement along archwires, expansion, retention, functional appliances, treatment impacted New 'high energy' magnets capable producing very high forces relative size. Although potentially useful there a number problems that severely affect performance; produced between any two falls dramatically with distance, significant irreversible loss is seen if heated dramatic reduction not ideally aligned one another. addition, corrode badly mouth robust coating required protect them. This paper outlines background energy orthodontics, discusses relevant physical biological properties them, reviews applications.
