摘要: Several therapeutic molecules such as lipophilic drugs and peptides suffer from the problems of low oral bioavailability. Improvement their bioavailability simultaneous prevention degradation prone appears to be a challenge. Lymphatic system, which is responsible for maintenance fluid balance, immunity metastatic spread cancers, also found play major role in absorption lipids intestine. The specialized structure gut associated lymphoid tissue can utilized gateway delivery particulate systems containing drugs. Even though large gap has existed field lymphatic drug delivery, introduction number brought renewed interest research this area. In review, mechanisms intestinal transport, approaches taken macromolecules, peptide drugs, biochemical barriers involved absorption, animal models used studies transport been discussed.
