摘要: Installed global wind power increased by 26% during 2003, with U.S and Europe accounting for 90% of the cumulative capacity. Little is known about turbines’ impact on people living in their vicinity. The aims this study were to evaluate prevalence annoyance due turbine noise dose–response relationships. Interrelationships between sound characteristics, as well influence subjective variables such attitude sensitivity, also assessed. A cross-sectional was performed Sweden 2000. Responses obtained through questionnaires (n=351; response rate 68.4%), doses calculated A-weighted pressure levels each respondent. statistically significant relationship found, showing higher proportion reporting perception than expected from present relationships transportation noise. unexpected high could be visual interference, influencing annoyance, presence intrusive characteristics. respondents’ turbines landscape scenery found annoyance.
