摘要: The problem of specifying an allowance for defects in a production lot is that balancing the cost producing too many items against risk not having enough to meet requirements. A model these costs here proposed. Sufficient conditions are developed on probability distribution defectives total have single minimum with respect allowance. sequential algorithm investigated and shown produce optimum if certain further met. Next, it special class distributions above satisfied. This which item being defective independent previous lot, includes binomial distribution.
