摘要: Abstract The effects of different processing parameters on sinkmarks, which occur the surface injection moulded parts, have been investigated. An L'18 orthogonal array design based Taguchi method was conducted to minimise sinkmarks thermoplastic parts and relative significance each parameter considered. polymeric material used polypropylene a plate cavity with various ribs for moulding. Experiments were carried out reciprocating moulding machine. After moulding, measured using profile meter. For factors selected in main experiments, size gate, melt temperature, width rib found be principal affecting sinkmark formation polypropylene.
