摘要: A magnetoresistive head in which Barkhausen noise is substantially suppressed and a variation reproduction minimized, magnetic disk apparatus using the same have been provided. The feature of invention resides provision longitudinal bias layer comprises hard thin film formed on an underlayer made either ferromagnetic having body-centered cubic lattice crystal structure, or amorphous antiferromagnetic structure.
