摘要: Primary angle closure glaucoma is a common cause of visual loss worldwide. Gonioscopy and other current methods assessment the anatomy anterior segment relevant to diagnosis this disease, such as ultrasound biomicroscopy, have significant limitations. Anterior optical coherence tomography, with its rapid, noncontact, high-resolution image acquisition, seems be promising tool for evaluation chamber configuration, including changes induced by illumination laser peripheral iridotomy. It has potential use rapid screening detection occludable angles. Ongoing clinical studies should help evaluate efficacy in regard.
